Growing up I never watched a single minute of Star Trek. I knew Kirk and Spock and that was it! Now...I would be ashamed to tell you everything I know about Star Trek. Maybe Sage starting young is a good thing, she can embrace all the useless Trekkie trivia that she will pick up.
